Research-based Professional Development

Building on the proven track record of our parent company, Beyond BookSmart, we created BrainTracks to bring the Executive Function (EF) success story straight into schools nationwide. We provide mentoring for teachers to add Executive Function skills training into the academic classroom setting, reaching all students, including those with learning disabilities, special needs, and mental health challenges, which also helps reach the growing number of students with ADHD. By infusing EF-based approaches directly into instructional practice, already busy teachers enjoy the benefits of more focused and capable students without changing their curriculum. BrainTracks democratizes access to Executive Function skills that students need to be effective learners today and effective adults in the future.

“The BrainTracks teacher workshops gave educators an incredibly important look into the components of Executive Functions and how to support students of all grade levels. The sessions contain valuable content that is easy to embed into one's teaching practice. The examples are relevant and able to be incorporated into the planning and delivery of instruction.”

— Katherine B. Watts, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Monson Public School District in Monson, MA
